Seit Jahren nutze ich ich die Backup Service Home zum Sichern meiner Dateien und bin begeistert von diesem Programm. Doch neuerdings lässt sich Backup Service Home nicht mehr starten. Ich erhalte folgende Fehlermeldung:

• Could not load file or assembly 'Alexosoft.BackupService.Controls, Version=3.4.4.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.
  at Alexosoft.BackupService.MainApp.modMain.GeneralCommands()
  at Alexosoft.BackupService.MainApp.modMain.Main()

Mein Gedanke war daher, es zuerst zu deinstallieren und dann neu zu installieren. Doch leider lässt sich das Programm auch nicht deinstallieren, so dass dieser Weg auch nicht zur Beseitigung meines Problems geführt hat.

Wie kann ich das Programm wieder zum Laufen bringen?

Beim Neustart des Rechners erhalte ich folgende umfangreichere Fehlermeldung:
